St Peter the Fisherman

Worship Times: SUNDAYS 8:30am & 10:30am - Beach Service: 6pm (Winter 5pm)

8:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist, Rite II

This quiet, reverent service is perfect for those who have grown up in the Anglican tradition or who prefer a quieter, more contemplative approach to worship. This service is a spoken one, usually with no music, and includes Holy Communion and a homily.

10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist, Rite II

This more contemporary service features organ, choir, traditional hymnody and rich Anglican liturgy. Our Rite II liturgy is found in the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) and employs modern language. This service includes Holy Communion and a sermon.

Children's Sunday school is offered concurrently in the Parish House and the children come in to greet their families at the Peace. Nursery care is also available at this service.

Sunday Evening Surfer’s Mass (Bethune Beach North Wall)

This service is appreciated by those who prefer to worship out of doors, in their bathing suit or shorts. Held year around weather permitting, this service provides a short homily and Eucharist. The altar is literally a skim or surfboard depending on the Sunday. Bring your board, blanket or beach chair and enjoy the view while sharing communion on the beach.

The beach service is at 5:00 p.m. during the winter months (EST) and moves to 6:00 p.m. in the spring, summer and fall when we are on Daylight Savings time.

Wednesdays 10:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist, Rite II

This 30-minute service includes a homily, Holy Communion, and prayers for healing. This is a quiet, reverent service that is entirely spoken; there is no music.
